Who would have known that the weekend that I was looking most forward to - to worship our Lord together with my family and church would take a different turn? Who would have known that the little red rashes found between Sam's fingers, palm and toes would be matter-of-factly diagnosed by Daddy as Hand-Foot-Mouth Disease? Who would have imagined that remembering this most important occasion for us would be so enjoyable with just the 4 of us and our helper? We thank God for the sun and the rain - for He giveth all things.
We went to one end of Singapore, armed with our basket of dyed easter eggs and lunch and guitar and our Easter book and our trusty car and had a Easter picnic. With the light drizzle and cool wind, it was a most pleasant way to remember the Lord's Day with our two toddlers. We sang song after song and the tots peeled egg after egg. Daddy read a bible passage and the Easter Book. It is indeed a happy day - that Christ rose from the dead, many years ago!
