Finally...

Mummy has never really taken a picture with Sarah cos mummy is always the one taking the pictures. [I am sure Weifang can vouch for that]. So here's one - just for me:)

Week 13 - Sarah's Developmental Progress

Look, I can sit up!
I love to grab and bat at little bird.
And of course, I can smile at the camera [but mummy must be there:)]
I can do my push ups and hold my head up!

Sarah, Sarah and more Sarah...

Auntie Dawn has really outdone herself. Everytime she sees Sarah, she snaps about 100 over shots in her hp. So here you go - a painstakingly done masterpiece entitled, "Sarah Paparazzi"

31 years and counting...

Since first coming into contact with the church, Bible stories, Christians etc at the age of 5, God has continually revealed Himself as a loving, powerful and wonderful Father. It is amazing that I am 3 decades old (haha) + 1 - and since my last birthday, I have concluded that age is nothing to hide or be embarrassed about but rather a reminder of the extent and extend of God's grace and mercy. This birthday is definitely special - cos I have a special gift and heritage in the form of baby Sarah. I never fail to look at Sarah in amazement as I see how perfect God's creation and plan is. Let's wait expectantly to see what God has in store for me for the new year:)
Yummy ice-cream cake from David & CC

Our 1st family bday shot. In our excitment in not letting the cake melt, we didn't take a photo with the rest of the family. Pity-there's still next year

Family Dinner at Tung Lok seafood.

Week 11

Weekly photo updates of Sarah. She is getting cuter, smarter and more talkative...What a blessing she has been to us:)

Sarah's 1st Prayer meeting in church - that's jie jie Charissa and jie jie Mabel. Sarah really shared her blessings that day. Her cooing was so loud it drowned mummy's sharing. And I am not exaggerating.

Sitting happily on the sofa.

Sarah and grandma - on our way to family nite.

Happily sitting on the lap of mummy's daddy.

Sarah and Shu Shu Darrell.

Lovely shots of Sarah on the red sofa again.

‘Do not be terrified, or afraid of them. The LORD your God, who goes before you, He will fight for you, according to all He did for you in Egypt before your eyes, and in the wilderness where you saw how the LORD your God carried you, as a man carries his son, in all the way that you went until you came to this place.’ Yet, for all that, you did not believe the LORD your God, who went in the way before you to search out a place for you to pitch your tents, to show you the way you should go, in the fire by night and in the cloud by day. Deut 1:29-33

Reading this passage moved me much. The picture of how God carried Israel as a father carries his son to love and to protect him till the end of the trial touches me. God always makes His presence known to us so that our confidence is in the Lord but how often we live our lives in unbelief and fear. Still, God continues to give of His love freely.

Great granddaughter and Great grandfather [4 generations]. Sarah and parents went to visit great grandpa last Sat. It is beautiful to see how the LORD grows families for His glory.

Let me introduce you to my regular taggers - they are usually camera shy but I managed to get a full view of them. This was taken last December. They will prob squirm when they see this entry hahaha. From bottom left: David [Dav], Huiling [HL], Carmen and lastly the one standing is naughty Darren.

Baby attends her 1st Church Wedding - 30 Jan 2007

Baby gets ready for a busy Saturday. Yeah! Uncle Josh and Auntie Jan's Wedding! It was a beautiful wedding - to know that God makes all things good in His time. More photos about the wedding soon. While Auntie Jan was the bride of the moment, baby Sarah was the princess of the moment. Some shots of her and aunties and uncles at the wedding.
