At the Cross at the Cross

Where I first saw the light

And the burden of heart rolled away

It was there by faith , I received my sight 

And now I am happy all the day.

A song that I learnt when I was a child - one that I enjoyed very much to sing and play. Just looking at the words again made me realize how theologically loaded this simple chorus is - but beyond that, truly it is the Cross of Christ that makes all the difference to the one who does not know him as well as to the one that knows him.
