Daniel's schedule has been crazy as usual but the Lord showed us his tender care by providing some reprieve and grace. Throughout the entire month of June, he was slated for 3 outfield exercises. That means at least a 3 day overnight training each week. This would lead up to 2 weeks of absence as he travels to Thailand. Due to some interesting circumstances, that training schedule went awry with missing drivers and lack lustre performance, Daniel could appear for 3 nights of youth evangelistic meetings as well as drive up for the last day of camp to spend time with me and everyone.
In addition, he was sent a relief medical officer to help in the clinic and that gave him a free Thursday and Friday. Holiday was in the air - we could sniff it even if someone had sewn our nostrils together. Off we went to Sofitel at Senai for a much needed getaway. The Lord is good even in the midst of trying circumstances. There was a credit card promotion and we stayed there for 2 nights at the price of 1 night. My parents came along and we were joined later by Darrell, David, Dr Chua and his daughter, Gail. It was a good time of fun, fellowship and of course food. Well, friends, do pray for him as he travels on the 27th June - for safety, for alertness and no mishaps.
In the meantime, I will resume by blogging on thursday for specific reasons. You will find out then.
